Born in San Francisco, Edgar Belcher passed away at his home in Redding, Calif., on Jan. 9, 2012.
He lived most of his life in the Bay Area. He was a graduate of St. Ignatius High School. He worked at PG&E for 45 years. Edgar was also an avid fisherman. He made custom fishing rods and lure and was a member of the Solano Fly Fishers Club.
He was preceded in death by his grandson, Kyle Edwards. He is survived by his wife, Doreen Belcher; stepdaughter, Renee Edwards; stepson, Ron Beeghley; and grandsons, Chad and Brett Edwards.
Edgar maintained his great sense of humor throughout his illness and will be missed by all. All family and friends are invited to attend services.
Visitation will be at 10 a.m. on Thurs., Jan 12, 2012, with Catholic Prayer Service following at 11 a.m., all at Bryan-Braker Funeral Home. Burial will immediately follow at the Suisun-Fairfield Cemetery.
