It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Frederick L. Scerbo (Canastota, New York), born in Oriskany Falls, New York, who passed away on May 23, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Fortunato “Fred” Scerbo and Adeline Morelle Scerbo; his son Edward Scerbo; his siblings, Richard, Gaetano “Guy” Scerbo and Pauline D’Amico; and his brother-in-law Anthony Veschusio.
He is survived by : his daughters, Roseann O’Herien (Loren “Skip”) of Canastota, Linda Stange (William) of Wyoming and Barbara Sell (Perry) of Virginia; and his sister Angela Veschusio of New Hartford. He is also survived by four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 31st 2023 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Campbell-Dean Funeral Home, Inc. (260 Main St, Oneida, NY 13421). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 1st 2023 at 10:30 AM at the Our Lady of Good Counsel (5652 E Main St, Verona, NY 13478).
