Gregory “Greg” John Rowe Perkins passed peacefully away on April 27, at the age 75, at his Quincy, California, home.

Greg was born in Long Beach, California on May 16, 1947. He spent his childhood in this sunny city, before moving to Australia. Eventually, he moved back to the United States, and settled in Huntington Beach. He studied radiology management at UC Irvine School of Medicine. He moved to Quincy later with his wife Kathleen, and son Wade.

Greg was the child of Maxine Perkins and Arthur Perkins. Greg was devoted to his family and loved his Quincy community. He worked as a director of imaging at Plumas District Hospital for 42 years, where his coworkers became his second family.

Greg was an amazing father, husband and father figure. He cared for and nurtured so many people.

Greg was kind, gentle and passionate about life. His family, colleagues and friends will miss him dearly. The countless lives that he touched will carry on his legacy, and the memories created by him will be forever treasured.

On May 20, at 10 am, family and friends are invited to celebrate Greg’s life at the Quincy Junction Barn (1843 Quincy Junction Road). In a private ceremony, he will be buried next to his son Wade in the Meadow Valley Cemetery. Please send plants instead of flowers.
