Joe F Castro, age 75, of Turlock, California passed away on Saturday, October 8, 2022. Joe was born April 9, 1947 in Cedros, Faial, Azores to Ana Adelina Garcia and Antonio Furtado Castro.
Joe is survived by his spouse, Rosalina B. Castro; his son Steve B. Castro (Melissa); and his son Jason B. Castro (Christina); his brother David Castro (Fatima), his brother Manuel Castro (Marizol), his sister Maria Luis (Eduino), his sister Olimpia Furtado (Antonio), his sister Fatima Apolinario (José) and his sister Ana Borba (Joe); his grandson Adrien Castro, his granddaughter Clara Castro, his grandson Wulfric Castro, his niece Lucia Luis, his niece Noelia Luis, his nephew Alexander Luis, his nephew Ruben Furtado, his nephew Davide Furtado, his niece Nancy Castro, his niece Stephanie Castro, his niece Jennifer Castro, his niece Jessica Castro, his niece Tina Apolinario, his nephew Brian Apolinario, his niece Kimberly Borba, his nephew Justin Borba, his niece Tiffany Garcia and his nephew Lucas Castro.
Joe was preceded in death by his father Antonio Furtado Castro and his mother Ana Adelina Garcia.
A visitation for Joe will be held Friday, October 14, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Whitehurst-Norton-Dias Funeral Service, 286 West Main, Turlock, CA 95380. A rosary and funeral mass will occur Saturday, October 15, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 8471 Cypress Street, Hilmar, CA 95324. A committal service will occur Saturday, October 15, 2022 at N. Hilmar Cemetery District, 8710 Tegner Road, Hilmar, CA 95324.
Serving as pallbearers are Steven Barros, Nelson Barros, Tony Gregorio, Brian Apolinario, Lucas Castro, Alexander Luis, Davide Furtado, Justin Borba, Adrien Castro, Wulfric Castro and Ruben F Furtado.
