We are sad to announce that on May 17, 2023, at the age of 80, Marilyn Joyce Burkman of Princeton, Illinois, born in Spring Valley, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, LeRoy Husser and Marcella Husser (Pinter); and her husband Dennis Burkman. She is survived by : her children, Colleen Carlson (Michael) of Malden, IL and Keith Burkman (Paula) of Bureau, IL; her grandchildren, Emily Burkman, Nathan Burkman (Rachel), Katie Robinson (Kiernan) and Jessica Carlson; her great grandchild Noah Burkman; and her siblings, Mona Grubar (Robert), DeWayne Husser (Cathy) and Dean Husser (Mary).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 21st 2023 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Norberg Memorial Home, Inc. (701 E Thompson St, Princeton, IL 61356). A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 22nd 2023 at 10:00 AM at the First Congregational Church (101 W Nebraska St, Bureau Junction, IL 61315). A graveside service will be held on Monday, May 22nd 2023 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Greenwood Cemetery – Bureau Order.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the First Congregational Church of Bureau or Bureau Fire Department.
