Detectives are seeking the public’s help identifying an early to mid-2000s Toyota Camry that was involved in a hit-and-run traffic collision in North Long Beach on Friday, Nov. 12 that killed a 72-year-old pedestrian, officials said.
The suspect vehicle is believed to be a dark color with tinted windows and a missing hub cap on the front driver’s side wheel, according to detectives.
Police are asking the public for helping locating the vehicle and its driver.
David Bermudez, a Long Beach resident, was struck by the suspect vehicle while crossing East Artesia Boulevard west of Atlantic Avenue, police said earlier this month.
The incident occurred around 6:20 p.m. and Bermudez was taken to the hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
