Pureza Jill Inolino Rotao, died unexpectedly at Stanford Hospital in Palo Alto, CA., September 1, 2018 after surgery complications at the age of 74.
Jill is survived by her daughter, Gebbie Rotao Custodio, son, Jovilo Rotao Custodio, sister Lannie Roberts, niece Sandra Ibuyan, niece, Liziel Roberts, and nephews Carlito I Rotao and Juanito I Rotao.

Jill was born July 15, 1944 in Malinao Aklan, Philippines to Juanito Yacub Rotao and Cristita Inolino Rotao. Jill graduated from the University of Northwestern Visaya College with a degree in Education. She moved to California in the early 1970’s. Jill started working for Abbott Laboratories in Mountain View, CA and retired after 15 years of service. In 2012 she was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. But fought and overcame the odds and became a 6 year cancer free survivor.

Jill’s passion was to dance the Cha cha and other ballroom style dances. She liked to frequent the casinos and hangout with her friends and family. As a person who related everything with food, she liked dining at places with various types of noodles or raiding buffets. She was an active member of the Malinao Brotherhood Improvement Society of Northern California. (MBIS). Jill had a green thumb, in particularly planting succulents, roses and orchids.

Visitation will be held from 1 – 5 PM on Saturday, September 15 and Sunday, September 16, 2018 with a Vigil at 3:00 PM, Fremont Memorial Chapel, 3723 Peralta Blvd., Fremont. Funeral Mass will be held 10:30 AM, Monday, September 17, 2018 at All Saints Catholic Church, 22824 2nd Street, Hayward. Follow with a burial at Lone Tree Cemetery, 24591 Fairview Ave., Hayward.
